lin simply didn't do enough to secure his starting spot. price may not be as good as lin but the difference is negligible for the team so he has no leverage. it's a shame that lin showed great potential but whether he could realize remains a mystery. so far it doesn't bode well. pessimistically, in two years time lin may be gone from the NBA.
