In that case, he would be the starter no question - Price played poorly before that and Byron needed a PG badly. JLin said himself that if it were regular season he would play. Yeah, it is pre-season but actually it is critical for him on the starting spot. Price broke out in the 2nd half of the game with steals and defense. Now Scott is on the fence.

Sometimes one needs to take risks. Health is important but if he could not secure the starting spot this season, he won't get chance to show the league his real value and his long term career could be impacted. In that case he should learn from Pat Beverly or other bull dog type of players.
