You have more imagination than 'push mom' :)

How do you know all these 'insider information'?  Based on what we have heard in media, Rockets tried to trade Lin earlier last summer, so your story line doesn't even follow history.  There are many reasons that they decide to give up on Lin.  You can't simply put the blame on Lin not improving enough.
