Morey sets up moves; unfortunately there's not much room for Morey to play hardball this time.  With DH12, Harden, Lin, Asik +  Parsons who will likely demand 10M per year on avg,  the Rockets will be far above the cap next year.

Asik had one good year in 2012- 2013. At age 27 he is not going to be the cornerstone for rebuilding a new team.  Boston may develop him into a different player but that is the best case scenario I can think of.   I was not in favor of this trade if Boston was giving up a top 5 protected 2014 pick -- that's way too much.
