very good points, especially two points

1.so far many Lin fans even haven't realized how much it meant for Lin to have missed those important playoff games

2. everything Lin has on hand now is earned by himself

My addition to the list:

instead of fighting for the starter position, focus on building solid skills during the current contract. The next contract is the real contract to justify his value.
