is to trade lin, and lin excels in another team. if that happens, they'll be the laughing stock of the entire nba.
they are in some sort of dilema, in that they still need lin's contribution, but do not want him to be 'too good'.
i think their best hope is for lin to degenerate into a true backup bench player and slowly fade into irrelevance.
