Only problem is the timing.

If you insist to claim credit after a terrible loss, it might back fire - when you truly play great, you might not get any credit.

Stats is something has to be taken with context. If you cherry-pick numbers in your favor, bias becomes too blatant to be ignored. 

Plus/minus is something a few posters here used to love, but it was completely neglected from yesterday's game, for obvious reasons - Lin had an eye-popping -27!

It was a bad loss, none of the starters played well, comparing to heir own capabilities. If really want to pick a public enemy number 1, obviously that will be James Harden. But that doesn't mean Lin played well.
