but short term wise the general populace is rather stupid and easily misguided.
lin is obviously on the way out. linsanity damaged a lot of people's ego, and they're seeking revenge. mchale seems to be one of them. so not only is lin getting demoted, he also has to face a coach who wants him humiliated. the best lin could do is to use what he has and perform his best. a phenomenal performance is the biggest slap in the face to all his haters.
