Especially for Lin, if they knew they would get ball-dominant James Harden, they probably wouldn't have signed Lin, at least not with that money. As for Asik, he served Rockets more than anyone would have expected last year. He's a very valuable trade bait if they don't want to leave 8 million on the bench.
