Rockets’ Lin focused on wins, not fourth-quarter minutes

Jeremy, sacrifice for what? Your team is losing without you. I want all starters on bench if that bring wins. But if not, don't ruin the player chemistry and this isn't time for trial and error.

What is this post all about? Using Lin's statement to comfort us and re-direct everyone's attention!? Cmon. Should have write something more constructive e.g. recommendation to our clueless coach on how to develop your starters in clutch time.
Just don't blame your starters for playing poorly in the 4th Q because you have not given them the proper development!
By the way, if Jonathan thinks that benching Lin and Asik were indeed necessary and legitimate. Why bother asking them?

BTW the argument that BEV WAS IN THE 4th FOR HIS D is A JOKE!
MARION, OJ, DIRK, and VC did most of the damage in the last game. The last time I checked none of those guys play the pg position.
It's HARDEN, PARSONS, and TROB's responsibility to guard them not BEV's!!!!

Lin is a good, humble Christian kid - of course he's going to say the right things.
But that doesn't change the fact the McHale was wrong by benching 3 starters down the stretch and opting to Harden Hero ball!
Again, Rocket are best they play fast team ball, have good ball movement, and spacing.

Jeremy Lin got a text from Goran and Kyle and it said _ "I TOLD YOU SO"...

@D2ISBACK, Gamespeed, RedSnipe, @ksfgh- Hey start ur CP3 campaign in ur dreams ASAP. When u wake up, hope u realize u r a half-brain id!ot.
1.CP3 max contract would be 100 mil for 5 years. Harden's is 80 mil for 5 years. Now we need 36 mil for two players in the backcourt.
2. CP3 won't sign if Rox do not have other decent pieces for a winning chance. We have a C of average 10 mil in Asik for the next 2 yrs assume CP3 thinks Asik is decent enough to play with while he knows Asik could be 20% FT shooter in a close game. Now ROX have a 'big three' of 46 mil a year. Add 25 to 30 mil for two decent F and 10 benches. Next year Rox payroll would be close to a payroll of 75 mil similar to CP3' current team Clippers.
3. Next step ask Les the owner how much luxury tax he would need to pay for his 75 mil payroll.
4. By the way, CP3 season stats is: 16.4 PPG, RPG:3.5. APG:9.5. He missed 13 games this season due to injury while Lin played all 62 Rox games.
5.Harden demands the ball in his hands, and is the center of all offence. McHale can only do this when Lin is PG because Lin won't argue. Interesting to imagine how's Harden's stats will be if the ball not in his hands all the time.
6.If Harden plays with CP3, I love the potential: McHale will be fired at the end of the 1st game as soon as he benches CP3 the 20 mil PG at the 4th or crunch time. McHale's other better game plan will be benching the NO-D Harden the 16 mil SG.
7.If Harden continues to play 40 min a game, hope his knee will hold. How many top guards suffered ACL injury out of nowhere: Rose, Rondo, …anyone could be the next name as soon as a max is signed.
8.Best wishes for Les's new investment on payroll (extra 30 mil), plus luxury tax, plus loss of Lin's sponsors. With foreign sponsors removed from Toyota's center surrounding ads and Rox web site, a good guess like another 20/30 mil a year there.
Bottom line: NBA is a business, like Lin or not.

It's pathetic for the Rockets to ask Lin and Asik to do them the favor of doing the damage control. Was there any damage to control? Are they being just taken advantage of and being made fools of - or do they get a bonus for their charity?

I agree with Lin about riding the hot hand. However, I am not sure how anyone could conclude that Beverley had the hot hand at that point.
