OKC swept Clippers for the season, as they are the better team. This game was quite interesting though. Clippers was down for 19 points, and I already wrote them off in the first half, but they did come back with vengence. Hats off to CP3, who I bashed hard in the first half:) His energy brought the team back.
There were quite a few momentum-swing moments. When Clippers got really close, not surprisingly, it was Kevin Durant got the favorable calls. That out of bound called on Clippers' striping, although no way the ref could see that on the other side of Paul's hand. But it was an anticipation call - Durant lost the ball, it must be the defender. Then the foul before inbound, which put Durant on the FT line after a broken play. I would appreciate very much if the ref had the guts to call a jump ball, simply saying I couldn't see.
Then, that cheap shot from Ibaka on Griffin, that was just cheap and ugly. It became a 7 point trip on the end. Perkins then went on and on with his crap. I could never stand this guy ever since he was with the Celtics. My mom used to say, 醜人多怪事. Boy, he's annoying:)
Westbrook brought home the game for OKC. Those big shots near the end of the game were just daggers to kill Clippers. I always felt everything was made too easy for KD, gift-wrapped for him. He quietly "earned" 13 free throws without counting the last 2, with his "aggressive jump shots". Now D-whistle can pass the crown to Durant:)
Westbrook used to carry all the blame if something is not right at OKC, while Durant takes all the credit. But this guys has been scoring for 23 points in the season, while dishing out almost 8 assists and catching 5 rebounds. What a player.
