Rockets to sign Aaron Brooks after he clears waivers
he Houston Rockets will sign guard Aaron Brooks, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Brooks agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings on Friday and is expected to clear waivers early next week.
Because Brooks was released before the midnight March 1 deadline, he is eligible to be on the postseason roster for another team.

Brooks signed a two-year, $6.6 million contract with the Kings over the summer. He's averaged eight points in just 21 minutes a game this season. The Kings have given increasing minutes to young guards Isaiah Thomas and Jimmer Fredette.
Brooks had his best season in the NBA with the Rockets three years ago, averaging 19 points and five assists per game.
