As it was late in the game and Montreal was facing the prospect of going to Los Angeles down two games to none, Demers pulled goalie Patrick Roy, producing a 6-on-4 advantage for the Canadiens. In dramatic fashion, Montreal's Éric Desjardins scored from the point to tie the game at two and force overtime.”
