Shits happen in NFL every season however. The Vikings were the best offensive team in 98-99 but got destroyed in post season. The Giants started the season with 10-1 record in 2008 (powerful running game & dominant OL that year) but Plaxico shot himself in the leg, the Giants were stopped in the first round later.

That said, Tony Romo has accomplished more during regular season :)
