Due to the long holiday weekend, I did not get a chance to look at my team roster until Monday night. I was a little bit disappointed to say the least. My FF team is filled with a potent WR corps & some average NFL-caliber RB's, sided with two decent QB's based on FF standard. NFL.com sent me an email trying to convince me I had an B-rated draft but I call it BS.
I was rewarded a bonus good TE in Travis Kelce after the system placed those lousy RB's in my arsenal. I do not think, however, I can stand a chance in this RB-oriented FF league (To make matter worst, I accidentially dropped the only viable starter RB while I intended to get myself familiar with those clickable options). Desperately, I was searching for some RB replacement to no avail. Waiver list is obviously not a good place but I spent some time on it, hoping to get some gems out of nothing.
With the game starting tomorrow night, I made a last attempt to propose a trade to Brother FK but haven't heard anything back from him. The stage is set, air is getting dense. I can sense my week 1 opponent licking his chops with his two power-house RB's. My team is as unprepared for week 1 competition as my beloved NY Giants.
With that said, the games are meant to be played every given Sunday/Monday/Thursday. I have sent out my force with BPA. My team is up for challenges. Come on, my week 1 enemy, show me what you got. It will be a bloody battle!!!
Have some fun & enjoy the games, my TTleague fellows, I have my popcorn ready.
PS: I was relieved to see some teams having worst shape then mine
