Tiger Woods will play in the Wyndham Championship, after all, and he'll have high-profile company Wednesday.
A day before the tournament begins at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, Woods will participate in the Louis DeJoy and Aldona Z. Wos Family Foundation Pro-Am with NBA point guard and Wake Forest alum Chris Paul.
Their tee time is 7 a.m.
Paul has been a regular Pro-Am participant close to his hometown, playing with Davis Love III in 2012, with Brandt Snedeker and Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers in 2013 and with Fred Couples in 2014.
He's no Steph Curry, who recently shot a 76 with President Obama, but Paul is one of the most visible golfers among NBA players. He's even enjoyed a round with Bill Clinton.
