Hand #22 - Alex Turyansky Eliminated in 10th Place ($756,897)

 

Alex Turyansky riases to 850,000 from middle position and Joe McKeehen three-bets to 2,050,000 from the big blind. Turyansky moves all in for 8,800,000 and McKeehen quickly calls.

It's a flip for Turyansky's tournament life as he shows  and is up against McKeehen's . The crowd begins to yell and cheer, while getting on their feet. The rest of the stands as well in anticipation of the flop.

The flop is  and McKeehen is still in the lead. The rail begins to call for cards, with most of the crowd rooting for McKeehen to send their respective rooting interest to the November Nine. The  comes on the turn and nine players are one card away from becoming millionaires.

Patrick Chan raises to 725,000 in middle position. Pierre Neuville three-bets to 1,950,000 on the button and both blinds fold. Chan instantly shoves all-in for 6,225,000 and Neuville calls.

The flop comes  giving Chan the ace-high flush and the commanding lead. Chan begins to celebrate, but it doesn't last long because the turn is the , giving Neuville a set. Chan will need the board not to pair in order to have his flush hold up.

Chan paces around the table area and out into the camera and press area prior to the river card being exposed. But after the dealer lays down the , Chan's flush holds and he is awarded a full double up.
