杜甫《蜀相》 By Du Fu

Where to find the premier's ancestral hall?
Cedars outside the Jinguan Town stand tall.
Green grasses on steps reflect the spring hues,
orioles behind leaves are sadly telling the old news:
He was paid three visits for the war strategies,
and to two generations he had given his loyalties,
but just before dispatching another troop, he died,
Ever since heroes' tears in their gowns can't get dried.

丞相祠堂何處尋，錦官城外柏森森。
映階碧草自春色，隔葉黃鸝空好音。
三顧頻煩天下計，兩朝開濟老臣心。
出師未捷身先死，長使英雄淚滿襟。

趙翼《論詩》 By Zhao Yi

Talking About Poems

Li and Du' peoms had been in good odour,
But now their works seem to be fresh no more.
In each era, talented men are there to grow,
For years they individually lead the show.

李杜詩篇萬人傳，
至今已覺不新鮮。
江山代有才人出，
各領風騷數百年.
