What a sad sight： I poke around and around,
only cold and loneliness are what I've found.
At this warm but still cold moment,
I try to have a good rest, but it won't happen.
How can only some light wine, two cups or three
help me resist the abrupt and chilly dusk breeze?
By the time a wild goose flies by
I've already felt broken hearted; and I
realize that the goose is an old friend of mine.
Yellow daisy petals have piled up here and there,
they look so withered, making me feel despair.
Now who still wants to love and pity me?
I have stayed by the window all day lonelily.
How can I ride the long day down into night?
Beating the parasol leaves, the rain sounds light,
Alas! Tick, tick, tick... at my heart, it strikes.
