The last two weeks of October are always good times to visit the Great Smoky Mountains. Though it is not the best time to see the fog, the chance to see a stunning sunset is so much better because of the dry air this time of the year. The colors and lights are so magical and it never fails to be the treat for your eyes. I wish I could do better to catch the beauty of it. Here are a few snap shots from a couple years ago.
