Cooper's big dinner

Cooper's hawk and pigeon are similar in size and weight.  A couple of months ago, I photographed a cooper's hawk taking the pigeon up to a tree, I was totally awed. I fired off a burst of 9 within the second; here are selected 3 frames.  Thanks for stopping by.

After he got up on the tree, he took a break of about 5 minutes, then flew off with his dinner.
