遵循虎兄（enTiger744）“小學生周遊世界”的指示繼續前進。新班長們上任，大家獻上美女照飛鳥照，門檻忒高。咱找個WXC上登得不多又震撼人心的地方（順便說，SF灣區的 Año Nuevo SP看海象-有幾大怪，不過要立馬預約了，詳見最後附錄；和歐洲的 San Marino也是這樣的地方），九月中下旬去兩周。納米比亞一百七十萬人，八十萬平方公裏，多是沙漠，荒漠和山脈。Brief itinerary: Windhoek (capital), Etosha NP, Damaraland, Twyfelfontein, Swakopmund/Walvis Bay, Sossusvlei。上幾張美女照飛鳥照，感謝老班長們，祝賀新班長們 (I am the last one and the rotten egg)。請湊合著看吧。Hope there are one or two you like。

言歸正傳，去納米比亞多是看Sossusvlei的沙丘，別的都是bonus。5. Guide說Sossusvlei是零contamination。的確星星又大又亮，拍個月亮。
6-23 Sossusvlei的Namib Naukluft Park。車開了幾十公裏，幾百個巨大沙丘。6. 沙丘上的怪圈，科學家查不出原因。
7 Camel Thorn Tree（Acacia erioloba）。There are more plants in Sossusvlei desert than I expected。It’s not far from coast。Plants get moisture from the coast wind。
8-16沙丘。僅Big Daddy，Big Mom，#45三沙丘讓爬。

十年前~Xmas，去Año Nuevo看海象。Guide (lady)所述如下。海象要求極高（幹淨/有pond etc），加州僅三處有海象。海象每年~Thanksgiving開始到，~Xmas全到；~二月下旬開始離開，~三月下旬全離開。在此期間生baby，mating，不抓魚（已在Arctic吃飽）。這裏的海象是巨大的northern elephant seals。King和另一公的麵對麵撐著上半身站在兩個沙土高坡上，King撐著上半身足有1.5層樓高。（震撼哪！）Guide叫我們不出聲從它們之間穿過。
baby不會遊泳，媽帶baby去pond學遊。Baby出生~40磅，離開時~200磅。有的baby吃媽和奶媽（死了自己baby的）兩份奶，營養忒好，變super-dumper（超肥baby），離開時~400磅，活不長。
（18+）All adult females are presumed to be wives of the king. When strong enough, the other males will challenge the king. Males have breast plate（長了鎧甲） and clash with upper body。However, some males are sneak-fxxxers since the king is not able to take care of all his wives. After seal mating, the egg will drop into the fallopian tube and not be viable. The egg will drop back into the ovary and start growing after the seal goes back to sea and feed herself so that the baby will be born next winter after the mother is back on land。
不過Año Nuevo SP每天人數有限，要立馬預約了。十年了，Año Nuevo情況會有變化，不知能走到king的跟前否？看了不震撼，咱這裏退票。Winter is rain season，and guided tour will be temperorily suspended when big rain comes。
多年前，I went to San Marino in an afternoon. There were hundreds of small countries in Italy many years ago. But now, there is only San Marino within Italy except Vetican. San Marino is so beautiful especially during sunset. I hope someone will go there and take pictures.
