Try Costco

Costco usually carry several entry level digital SLRs, sometimes with a second lens that gives you wide angle to telephoto. Try a few and see which one you like. Once you are at the level of SLR, the choice is more of a personal taste and preference: they all can be used to take great pictures if in goog hands:-)
