伊斯坦布爾 - 聖索菲亞大教堂 (Haghia Sophia)

聖索非亞大教堂 (Hagia Sophia) 是6世紀時拜占庭帝國的查士丁尼大帝建造的東正教堂。十五世紀，奧斯曼帝國將其改建為清真寺。土耳其建國後，改成屬於基督徒和穆罕默德信徒共有的宗教博物館。

教堂內原有的拜占庭文化的典範──馬賽克鑲嵌畫在改成清真寺時被灰漿遮蓋，改成博物館後，又重見天日。站在教堂中央，高不可攀的穹頂和氣勢恢弘的大理石柱子給人一種強烈的震撼，從四周窗戶透進來的自然光線給幽暗的教堂營造了迷幻的宗教氣氛。
