雪鴞

雪鴞又名白鴞、雪貓頭鷹、白夜貓子，是一種白色或褐白相間具橫斑的猛禽，鴟鴞科的一種大型貓頭鷹。棲息於北極苔原，有時向南到歐洲、亞洲和北美洲。體長約60公分（約2尺）。翅寬；頭圓形，不具耳羽束。吃小型哺乳動物（如野兔和旅鼠）和鳥類。營巢於開闊的地麵上。
