The Bay of Fires coastline stretches for 50 kms from Binalong Bay in the south to Eddystone Point in the north.
藍得透明的海，大片的白沙灘，橘紅色的岩石就是這一片的特點，原以為bay of fires來源於橘紅色的岩石，後來在ST Helens的一個私人大航海博物館知道：The Bay of Fires was named by English navigator Tobias Furneaux in 1773 when he saw fires burning along the coast, lit by Tasmanian Aboriginal people. Aptly, the area of larapuna, which includes the Bay of Fires, is the setting for one of Tasmania’s first Aboriginal tourism ventures.
