you can choose litter that reduces tracking and dust. Indoor cats are probably cleaner than you are, because they are not exposed to the external environment. Healthy cats groom and bathe themselves multiple times a day. One of the mose enjoyable things of having a cat is to have the cat sleeping with you in bed. If you didn't like this, why would you even want to have a cat?
