Jen,Thanks for the quick reply. Just to confirm, is that Baxter in the photo that I sent to you? (Attached again.)We presently have 3 rescued dogs of our own, along with a houseful of rescued cats. The stray animal situation here is really bad. But we will do what we can to put the word out about Baxter and the other dogs you are helping. Thanks again.M

Hi M,Thank you for your concerns about our adorable dog, Baxter. He is NOT at risk of being euthanized, but IS in need of a home (foster or forever). Baxter was pulled by our Second Chance from the ACC with horrible mange and has been bounced around at no fault of his own to a couple of foster homes. He is currently in boarding, which is no place for a young dog especially with one getting over mange and we are really trying to find him a foster or forever home. I know you mention that you don't live in the NYC area, but we do foster and adopt out of the immediate area. If you can help in providing a temporary or permanent home to Baxter - please fill out our online application at http://nycsecondchancerescue.org/app-form.Thank you,

Hello Second Chance Rescue,we heard about this dog (see attached photo) from someone who said that it is one of the dogs you are trying to adopt out and that it is at risk for being euthanized very soon. Do we have correct info? Not sure of the name of the dog, but we did find the attached photo which matches (exactly) the one we saw when we first heard about this dog. (Is it possibly Baxter, who you have listed under adoptables?)We don't live in the NYC area (but we do visit), and we would like to do what we can to help save this dog. This is the first time we have heard about your organization and we are very encouraged to see the work that you are doing to help all of these dogs. Please get back to us with more information if you can.Sincerely,
