Dust, no tracking. you don't change the pee pad for a week at least. you can turn the tray 180 to use the pad for 2 weeks. the pellats need to be changed every month or you can wash and dry the pellats to re-use. Yes, it sounds funny and gross but people do it. You scoop the poop everyday, the urine is not absorbed or clumped by the pellat. It leaked down to the pad lined tray. Go do some research. It is the best one I have used as far as work involved, cleaniness and so on. The only draw back is cost. But if you order from amazon in bulk then it is not too bad.
