Wonderful story, wonderful cat. Your writing brought tears to my eyes. Isn't it ture that all good things will come to an end, with your pets or with people you trust and love? I don't really like country music, but there is one song called "To live like you are dying" by Tim McGrow,talks about the similar feeling. Knowing that an end is inevitable will make you appreciate everything more, and enjoy everything more while you can.
