First, unlike Chinese, most of the people in the world are not that easily get mad over anything.
Second, what the West concerns is not about 反腐, but how it is done. If it is done openly and fairly, that is the best thing to Chinese and the rest of the world. However, if it is done just to make room for the new breed of party leaders to gain control of power and money, there is no real benefit for Chinese people, and the rest of world will have to absorb the potential fallout if 反腐 leads to instability within China.
It is disturbing to see Chinese always exaggerate so much about anything and everything. The only interpretation I can infer from that is China is 外強中幹. Buffing is just a disguise for the lack of confidence.
