This guy is not insulting Chinese.

He did the same thing as some of the relatives of the victims and some Chinese: he overreacted to the situation.

Personal feeling is one thing, how to express it in public is another. This is especially critical for reporters, if they can't control their emotions, they are no longer trust worthy. Say something irrational in public and without evidence may make you feel better temporarily, but words will backfire and only cause more friction and distrust among all the people involved. After all, assuming the worst about Malaysian government will not help finding the fate of MH370. If Malaysian government has the evil intention, they will not tell you no matter what you say because that is what they plan is. If they are just overwhelmed by the difficulty of the problem, accusing them only hurt their feeling and make them reluctant to work hard. In either cases, it becomes a lose-lose situation and it is what  Chinese wanted.
