美聯儲 press release Nov. 25, 2008 沒有像你說的那樣，將mortgage 排除在外，相反地，在 TALF Terms and conditions (PDF) 寫道："The set of permissible underlying credit exposures of eligible ABS may be expanded later to include commericial mortgage-backed sercuirties, non-Agency residential mortgage-backed securities, or other asset classes."

接下來，美聯儲 press release Dec. 30, 2008 明確宣布要購買"兩房"的 mortgage-backed securities (MBS)。至此，已經毫無疑問，美聯儲擔保(按你更嚴格的說法是"保險")了"兩房"的債卷。
