Mao is not a God. Also Mao did not intend to be a God.
As a human being, he has no power to be a God. What made him a God is something that is out of control of Mao. In some way, we are made to be who we are.
We are doing what we are believing and we all believe what we are doing is for the people and for the country. Mao did what he believed. If you want to judge him, it has to be a fair judge. It wouldn't be an easy work.
History is history. Hitler intended to kill every Jews, he failed. Washington intended to kill every Indians, we can say he succeeded and here comes America.
From what I've known so far, Mao didn't intend to kill every Chinese.
As a Chinese, I respect those who gave up their lives for the good of Chinese people. What they did may not be correct, but, to be honest, we are not much different. Germans, Jews, Chinese and Americans are all human beings.
And I am not the Judger, you neither.
