孩子，除了“嘻哈”還有“鄉村” 

 

鄉村歌曲不是孩子們的菜，但是，如果沒有了濃鬱的鄉土氣息，也就稱不上鄉村歌曲了。歌手們吐字發音都帶所謂的南方口音，這似乎是一種標配，就連來自加拿大的歌手Shania Twain 和澳大利亞的歌手Keith Urban 都入鄉隨俗了。有一次，同事甲開玩笑地說，你說話帶口音，另外一位同事乙打抱不平地對甲說，你也“country”。真的是，鄉音鄉情啊！

 

可以這麽說，鄉村歌曲讓人喜歡，因為它涉及日常生活的方方麵麵，不僅有對美好的頌揚，如 Tim McGraw的“Humble and Kind”（“謙卑和善良”，給孩子們的歌），以及Jewel 的“Satisfied”（“欣慰”，給所有人的歌）。還有不少歌曲會觸及到生活中一些陰暗麵，希望喚起人們對諸如家暴，虐童等的關注，如女歌手Martina McBrigde的歌曲“Concrete Angel“, “Independence Day” ，以及前段時間的“MeToo”，為此男歌手Keith Urban還推出了“Female” ，這些傷感題材的歌曲寫得如此之好，用心至極，聽了讓人心情凝重，從一個方麵反映了鄉村歌手們的社會良知。

 

還有一類歌曲比較“中性”，講述了生活裏“你和我”有關的事，下麵就是其中的兩首。一首是歌名叫“Space Cowboy”（試翻譯為：“很忙的”牛仔），由女歌手Kacey Musgraves演唱，另一首來自Keith Urban 的“You’ll Think of Me”（試翻譯為：“無悔就好”） 。僅從聲音聽，Kacey Musgraves高音部分比較突出，在歌曲演繹中，高低音的過渡轉換成了她的標誌性聲音，她的歌聲有了一種餘音繚繞的感覺，2018專輯Golden Hour被認為是她的巔峰之作，“Space Cowboy”就收錄其中。同樣，Keith Urban的高音部分也比較特別，帶了一些鼻腔共鳴音，男聲變得柔和細膩起來，是個有故事、講故事的聲音。

 

這兩首歌有些相似，都提及一個詞“space”（”空間”）。Kacey直接用在歌名上，並在歌中唱道：“You can have your space…”（“你可以有自己的空間”或者更狠一點“愛誰誰”，而Keith Urban則唱道“Take your space …” （帶走你的空間）。這樣“渣”和“空間”有了某種關聯，不過，確切地定義“渣”好像不容易，而“空間”也許是一種“成長”，一種“態度”，一種“丈量”，…。

 

“暖”似乎也不容易定義。還是這兩位歌手，演繹了兩首“暖”歌，Kacey Musgraves的“wonder woman” （試譯為：“個性女人”）和Keith Urban 的”Making Memories of Us”（試譯為：“歲月留痕”），唱出了她眼裏“暖女”，以及他眼裏“暖男”，去“丈量”她（他）眼裏的他（她）（如前麵兩首歌）。一位上了年紀的女士在Keith Urban的這首歌曲的YouTube 上留言道：“致所有的女孩…聽聽這首歌吧，如果你的男友不像歌裏唱的那樣，考慮其他人吧。我們所有的女人都值得這樣被愛。不要太在乎他的長相是否帥氣和有多富有。  隻要你真正感受到他是否如歌裏唱的那樣，真心愛你，你未來的生活將會非常美滿。聽聽我這位過來人的忠告吧…愛一個這樣愛你的人。” 同樣的話是否適合Kacey的歌，“致所有的男孩...”？這樣的女孩是否值得擁有和珍惜？

 

感謝這些歌和歌者，和視頻的完美結合起來，如濃縮的小說和電影，講述著你與我、真與假、冷與暖的事，一切的一切隻在心與心之間……。孩子，除了”嘻哈”（Hip Hop），還有“鄉村”（Country)。
