attack on the keys si obvioous here. Perfect for his Bach with that rigor and relentless clairty. but for Beethoven, the more velvet and flowy Arrau or Perahia is more pleasant. Althpough I am not a fan of Beethoven or anyone after him, so i can say much. On can find. i believe, Arrau with collin Davis on utube if you dont have the cd already.
Again, really there is nop point of arguing as it s solely a matter of preference.
I am no pianist but Gould's signature crisp and staccato
