The flower that smiles today 花兒今日噴香
Tomorrow dies 土中明日身藏
All that we wish to stay 所有想留美物
Tempts and then flies 誘你一下空忙
What is this world's delight 事上何事可樂
Lightning that mocks the night 閃電黑夜橫鏘
Brief even as bright 短又亮
Virture, how frail it is 美德脆弱如紙
Friedship how rare 友情罕見世上
Love how it sells poor bliss 愛情換個便宜
For proud despair 拿回你的絕望
But we though soon they fall 我們無奈苟延
Survive their joy, and all 歡樂今日為上
Which ours we call 空悲傷
Whilst skies are blue and bright 趁著藍天還亮
Whilst flowers are gay 花兒微開豔香
Whilst eyes that change ere night 開眼冷掃世界
Make glad the day 莫等黑夜臨降
Whilst yet the calm hours creep 寧靜時光漸逝
Dream then -- and from thy sleep 快做美夢還鄉
Then wake to weep 淚黃梁
