西晉滅東吳，三國時代結束

東吳（222年—280年）即三國時代的吳國，亦稱孫吳。3世紀時孫權建立的政權，首都開始建於吳(今蘇州)，後來孫權築石頭城建業（今南京）。222年，孫權稱吳王。黃龍元年（229年）四月，孫權稱帝，國號吳，改元黃龍，是為吳大帝。 280年，亡於西晉，三國結束。

菲律賓在革命領袖埃米利奧·阿奎納爾多的領導下，宣布從西班牙獨立。

美國最高法院準許異族通婚

 

在Loving 告弗吉尼亞州申訴案件中，最高法院大法官全票否決了弗吉尼亞州禁止跨種族婚姻的州法律，裁定根據第十四修正案的平等保護和正當程序條款，禁止異族通婚是違憲的。因為最高法院有終審裁決權，這一裁決標誌著從此美國異族通婚的合法性。

 

In Loving v. Virginia the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously struck down a state law that banned interracial marriage, ruling that it was unconstitutional under the equal protectionand due process clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment.

美國總統裏根呼籲蘇聯總書記戈爾巴喬夫拆除柏林牆

 

1987年6月12日，裏根站在東西柏林分裂的標誌性建築，柏林勃蘭登堡大門前，向時任蘇聯領導人戈爾巴喬夫先生發出震撼世界的呼籲：

戈爾巴喬夫總書記，如果你尋求和平，如果你尋求蘇聯和東歐的繁榮，如果你尋求自由化，戈爾巴喬夫先生，就請來這裏，開啟這扇大門！

戈爾巴喬夫先生，拆掉這堵牆！

鮑裏斯·葉利欽當選俄羅斯????????首任總統

 

鮑裏斯·尼古拉耶維奇·葉利欽（1931年2月1日－2007年4月23日），俄羅斯首任總統（1991年6月12日—2000年3月25日），曾曆任蘇共中央政治局候補委員、蘇共莫斯科市委第一書記、蘇聯俄羅斯聯邦最高蘇維埃主席。葉利欽是個充滿爭議的政治人物，他在蘇聯共產黨年代因矢言打擊貪汙而聲名大噪，但其政權卻飽受貪汙醜聞困擾。1992年10月28日葉利欽簽署命令，解散俄羅斯民族救國陣線組織委員會。1999年12月31日他宣布辭職，總理弗拉基米爾·弗拉基米羅維奇·普京為代總統，從此結束他的政治生涯。2007年4月23日因心衰竭逝世，享年76歲。

美國著名影星Gregory Peck格裏高利.派克去世，享年87歲。他生前經常在電影中扮演誠實和正直的角色，最引人注目的是《殺死一隻知更鳥》（1962）中的阿提克斯·芬奇。
