file SUBPOENA to foreign business

Old cat,

if SUBPOENA is filed from US to a person's business in China in order to get his income, will his business have to take it and provide all info ? Or US law wouldn't apply to China at all. If so, how to get his income info if divorce is filed in US? He doesn't filed tax in US, no W-2 , doesn't provide bank info how his money is wired in, either...He just give amount how much he makes, it is resonable, but we still want the proved record.

Currently the SUBPOENA is writen in English, does it have to be written in Chinese and to be noterized?
