car and truck are starting at almost the same spot

1. truck and car were travelling parallel
2 truck travels longer distance than car to reach the impact point
3. truck need longer distance to stop.
4 truck and car were travelling at the similar speed.
5 car were forced off line, not try to squeeze through. If car try to squeeze through, why use brake?
