Thank you so much for your kind reply. I checked my lease contract, it is totally 14 pages. I don't know the number of pages are correct or not. You remind me that keyless deadbult which I have asked him to provide but got refused. After the negociation, he wants us to pay 2 months penalty plus 600 dollars for our scheduled move-out days in this month and also forfeit the whole deposit, so total loss would be 5400, not including the overlaped rent charge around 2400 from my precious apartment. this would be a lose-lose deal for my family.
If I don;t take this deal, of course I still can stay, but really unhappy, especially my kid. I'd like to get the code. thank you again for your help.
