I rent an apartment and the kitchen is leaking. The manager hired a company to fix it. They said they will pull down the whole wall between the kitchen and bedroom. I don't know how long it will last (manager refused to tell us.) and where could we cook. I have a three-month baby. When they opened part of the wall last Friday, he was scared by the big noises and kept being waken up by the noises. Also my six-year daughter stay at home in her summer. So I don't know where should we stay when they work.
Does any one know under such situation, could we ask the manager offer us a place to temperarily stay? If he refuse to offer us a place, do we have right to refuse his pulling down the wall?
Thanks.
Help. Thanks.
