Thank you for your reply. I was a scientist working at a pharmaceutical company. What I did was that I submitted an abstract without going through the internal review. The abstract didn't disclose any new info that the company previously disclosed. In addition, after I was told that I shouldn't do it, I quickly withdrew my abstract. My question is whether the termination in this case is too strict. I feel it is a retaliation because I just complained in March that I didn't get a fair perforemance review.
