help-car accident on Saturday, but today insurance company said

I got a car accident on last Saturday afternoon. it's raining and the road is slippery. I hit the front tyre of a truck beside me when I change lane in highway. There is a crack on the bump of the tyre.

Today I got a phone call from the GEICO insurance company and told me my insurance was canceled on April 8, so they can not cover it.They said they sent me letter but I do not get it. And I don't know why they cancel my insurance, i always have good credit.

What shall I do now?

If the insurance don't pay for that, how much is it to fix the bump for the truck: 2007 FREIGHTLINER CONVENTNL FLD132XL CLASIC
