我好想離婚啊!

我來美國一年多了,和一個有綠卡的人結了婚,但是一年多來的婚姻生活讓我非常痛苦.我們經常吵架,還動手了好多次.每次吵架我都提出離婚,可是他死活不肯離.我想過報警,但是老是狠不下心來,我真不知道該怎麽辦好?最好能有什麽辦法能單方麵離婚的?我問過律師,但是他們收費很貴.各位XDJM能不能給我出點主意?我將感激不盡.隻要能離婚,有沒有身份我都不在意,隻想讓自己早日解脫!
