I just switched to a new job. But the new company announced job cuts the second day I start working due to some financial struggle. In this case, can I get some compensation for losing my job. In the offer letter, they offered me some sign on bonus which I haven't got yet; they didn't say anything about probation period.
Any action I should take? Should I ask for it if they refuse to offer?
