IRS

幫朋友問一下。 朋友在報稅的守候， 多報了claim and credit 而沒有任何文件支持這些claim and credit。 這樣多要了兩三萬的退稅。現在IRS沒有退這些稅錢， 但是
給朋友來了一封信，說是要繼續核實和調查。請問我朋友會有很大的麻煩嗎？我想不
至於被charge crimial offense吧, 至多civil penalty。 因為錢的數額不是太大，
IRS 不屑這種“小魚“。 大俠們以為如何？ 多謝。
