請教STP:"Head of Household" 報稅

我和我先生因為換工作的原因可能會分開住兩個州超過六個月以上，每人帶一個小孩，有人說我們可分別以"Head of Household" 來報稅（file seperately)，這樣會省好多稅。請問這種說法對嗎？有啥要注意的地方？
