Thanks all for your suggestions and help. Sorry I didn't reply because I've been busy in the past 3 days.

Yes, my friend was moved to another group and now works for a different boss. The big boss closed this case without HR involvement. She doesn't know whether she becomes the liability of the big company now. If so, the company may end the contract (she is a contractor) anytime in the future even though the boss of Boss1 told her to convert her into a perm-position in early of 07.

She told me if she would look for another job in next 3-6 months.

I have no idea of how she would become the liability of the company. If anyone knows, please explain. Thanks.
