The first author is important to student, at least for the first

The answer is still not clear. The first author is important to student for his/her future!!!

If the boss publish students' results always with the boss' name first, then we Chinese students work hard without gaining anything except a certificate of degree (of course, if the boss want to give it to student). IT IS UNFAIR!

If student publish results without boss's permission (with boss name second), what responsibility does the student need to take in leagal (most students need to work in USA in the future)?

If you have any opinion or have the similar boss (advisor), please reply to this topic. Could we find some way to solve this problem if the student can not get agreement with the boss to publish the results?
